Mono-printing on Clay

If you love printmaking and clay this class is for you! If your simply interested in learning more about surface decoration with monoprinting come join us for this beginner to advanced intensive workshop, we will be making forms that are consusive to printmaking and exploring techniques that allow you to create prints that we will transfer to clay!
This one day workshop is a full day of clay! Tools, equipment, printmaking supplies, clay, glaze, and firings are included. We will also be providing lunch for this workshop.

For those of you looking for a place to work and make pottery this is for you! Come with your knowledge and play! We will gather on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from July 16 to August 15 for open studio! Drop in fee includes full use of studio. Clay is available for purchase per 25 pound bag. Bisque firing is included in class. Glaze firings will be charged per piece-glaze included in firing cost. (firing to cone 6 for now). Pottery Basics - Hand building and Wheel Throwing

In this 3 week pottery class, artists will have the opportunity to create projects on the potters wheel as well as learn handbuilding techniques. Shari has been teaching pottery for many years and taught at college level so she sure to be able to get you inspired to clay!
Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2 to 5pm. There will be 3 weeks of wet clay firing and glazing. We always have a gathering/potuluck at the end of class to see and critique the finished body of work!
With the class you will have use of the studio equipment and tools, will recieve 25# bag of clay, firings and glazes included. You will get to make up to 12 pieces in class (if you make more there will be a firing/glazing fee applied)

Chef Inspired Serving Pottery Class

Inspired by Chef Chuck and Chef Jodi of Rocky Mountain Culinary, this class includes a chef prepared meal! See our website for the full menu! This beautiful italian meal for 2* served on the beautiful service ware we create during the 3 week class to showcase your hard work and love for clay.
This 6 week class will begin with tapas served by Chef Chuck and Chef Jodi. We will spend the first class learning from Chefs about the relationship between food and what it is served on, and then dig into clay! We will meet from 5:15 to 8:00 Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 2 weeks of exploring wet clay and 1 week for firing and glazing. This is a class where you need some expierence with clay is preferable. We will be making tapas plate with serving bowls or oil and vinegar set, 1 large platter or bowl and 1 lidded serving/baking dish or a covered dessert tray. Class includes 25 pounds of clay, glazes, firings, use of studio tools and equipment as well as up to 3 hours extra studio time outside of class each week. Only 6 seats available for this class.
We will usie handbuilding techniques including pinch, slab, coil, and if you are proficent at the wheel you will have the opportunity to make your items wheel thrown and altered.
